How far in advance should we book you for our wedding or elopement?
Weekend wedding dates tend to book up the fastest, so I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your date set. Most couples reserve their wedding photography 6–12 months in advance, while weekday weddings and elopements may have more flexibility and can sometimes be booked with shorter notice. The earlier you reach out, the better the chance I’ll have your date available! 🤍📸
What is your approach to capturing weddings?
My approach is a blend of gentle guidance and authentic storytelling. From the moment you inquire, I want you to feel supported, excited, and confident throughout the entire process.
Before your wedding day, I'll help with timeline planning to make sure there is plenty of time for portraits, special moments, and all the little details that matter most. I also provide guidance on lighting and scheduling so we can make the most of your day while keeping everything relaxed and enjoyable.
When it comes to photographing your wedding, I focus on capturing genuine emotions, meaningful connections, and the moments you may not even realize are happening. While I'll step in with direction when needed for portraits and group photos, I also allow space for the day to unfold naturally.
My goal is to deliver a gallery that feels true to your story—filled with beautiful portraits, heartfelt moments, meaningful details, and memories you'll cherish for years to come. 🤍
How long does it take to receive our photos?
I believe your memories deserve the time and attention needed to be beautifully edited and carefully delivered. Every image is hand-selected and edited to ensure your gallery reflects the quality and experience you invested in.
Portrait, engagement, and graduation sessions are typically delivered within 1–2 weeks, with many galleries being completed even sooner. Wedding and elopement galleries are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks, depending on the season and the size of your celebration.
I know how exciting it is to relive your day, so I always work hard to deliver your photos as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality.
Do you book more than one wedding or event in a day?
No—your wedding day is reserved exclusively for you. I never book two weddings on the same day because I want to give each couple my full attention, energy, and creativity from start to finish.
On rare occasions, I may photograph a smaller session or event on a different day during the same weekend, but I am very intentional about my schedule. My goal is to show up fully present, prepared, and excited to capture your celebration.
When you book with Goddess Glow Photography, you can rest easy knowing your wedding isn't just another date on the calendar—it's a day I've set aside specifically for you and your story.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Don't worry—some of my favorite wedding photos have been captured on rainy days! While we all hope for beautiful weather, I'll work with you ahead of time to create a backup plan and make sure we're prepared for whatever the day brings.
If rain becomes part of the celebration, we'll make the most of it and continue capturing beautiful memories. In the rare event of severe weather or a natural disaster that makes it unsafe to proceed, we'll discuss the best options together based on your specific situation.
No matter the forecast, I'm here to help ensure your day is beautifully documented.
What happens if you have an emergency and can't make it to our wedding?
Thankfully, this is something I've never had happen, but I always believe in being prepared. If an unexpected illness, emergency, or circumstance prevents me from photographing your wedding, I have a trusted network of experienced photographers who can step in and provide coverage.
I carefully plan my schedule and take every precaution to avoid conflicts or last-minute issues. However, in the unlikely event that I cannot attend, I will work diligently to find a photographer whose style and professionalism align with the experience you booked.
My priority is making sure your wedding day is covered and that you can enjoy your celebration with peace of mind.
Do you offer videography?
We do not offer videography services, however, we are happy to recommend videographers in your area that we love working with!
How many images will we get?
The industry standard is 50 images per hour of coverage. However, I tend to err on the side of 80-100 final images per hour of coverage.
Do we need to provide a shot list?
For the most part, no! My goal is to tell the full story of your day, so I naturally capture all the big moments, meaningful details, candid interactions, and portraits along the way.
That said, I do ask for a family photo list before the wedding to make formal portraits run smoothly and ensure no important family members are missed. Prior to your wedding, you'll also receive a questionnaire that helps me learn more about your timeline, special traditions, important people, and any must-have moments you'd like captured.
The more I know about what matters most to you, the better I can create a gallery that feels personal, complete, and uniquely yours.
Do you work with a second photographer?
Many of my wedding packages include a second photographer, which allows us to capture even more moments and perspectives throughout your day. For larger weddings, multiple getting-ready locations, or celebrations with a bigger guest count, having a second photographer helps ensure no important moment is missed.
My primary second photographer is my husband, Josh, and we've worked together at many weddings and events. We know how to work seamlessly as a team while helping couples and guests feel comfortable in front of the camera.
For weddings that require additional coverage, I also have a trusted network of experienced photographers I can bring on. Whoever is photographing alongside me is someone I trust to provide the same level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail that my couples expect from Goddess Glow Photography.
My goal is simple: to make sure your wedding day is beautifully documented from every angle.
Is travel/accommodation included in your pricing?
Yes, travel is included in our packages. However, if you opt to custom build your package, travel costs will be added into your final proposal.
What equipment do you use?
I currently photograph with Canon cameras and professional-grade lenses that allow me to create bright, true-to-color images in a variety of lighting conditions. My gear is regularly maintained, and I always bring backup equipment, extra batteries, and multiple memory cards to every wedding and event.
While equipment is important, what matters most is the experience behind the camera. My focus is on using reliable gear, strong technical knowledge, and a creative eye to beautifully document your day and all the moments that matter most.
